The 4 WORLDS Tree of Life Set consists of 5 forks. There
is one fork for each of the 4 Worlds within the Tree of
Life, plus a fork for ALL the Worlds.
The 4 WO RLDS have a unique relationship with
the Tetragrammaton (meaning "the word of four letters"),
which is the mystical, ineffable, unspeakable,
unpronouncable, and most important name of G__,
YHVH. The 4 WORLDS are also aligned with the fixed signs
of the Zodiac: Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus. Within
this fixed cross are the 4 elements, which represent
the building blocks of all life when in harmony with the
Divine. There is a special point in space and time within the
fixed cross of signs, where there lies the everlasting key
to true Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding.
The 4 WORLDS are not linear, rather they are the multi-dimensional
parts of the Divine human. You can see from the illustration
on the right why they call this the Ladder of Light.
The 4
WORLDS all dynamically
interact in every moment. Since the Tree is a blueprint of the
Divine human, this "picture" gives us a better idea
of how we exist on all levels of being. We are actually multi-dimensional
4th dimensional living beings moving vertically, horizontally,
diagonally, and spirally within the context of time, all at the
same time!
There is also a 5th World.
It is the world of Adam
Qadmon.
The Adam Qadmon
world represents the world of GOD.

You can see the interconnectedness
and multi-dimentional nature of the
4 Worlds in the diagram to the right. (The world of Adam
Qadmon is not shown.) Each world is a complete Tree
with all of the 10 sephira. Each world actually interpentrates
the next world via the journey through the sephira. Carl
Jung said that difficulties we encounter on our path of spiritual
growth "are not solved, they are transcended."
When we shift our consciousness, we can then connect to the
tree (world) above or below depending in which direction
we are in our journey at a given moment in time.
In the wonderful book
The Practical Kabbalah Guidebook by C.J.M Hopking, is
an explanation about the connections between the 5 Worlds and
how each world interpenetrates each other:
- The lower face of
Assiah, the physical world, is
of itself.
- The lower face of
Yetzirah, the psychological world (some say also mental world),
interpenetrates the upper face of Assiah.
- The lower face of
Briah, the mental world (some say emotional world),
interpenetrates the upper face of Yetzirah.
- The lower face of
Atziluth, the spiritual world, interpenetrates the upper
face of Briah.
- The upper face of
Atziluth, the spiritual world, interpenetrates
the lowest seven sephiroth of the Adam Qadmon Tree.
Below is a brief definition
of each World that makes up the Tree. As you can see there
are relationships on many levels. We've listed just a few. There
are many wonderful books that delve
into the deeper meanings of each World and their relationships
to other structures within the Tree.

The Kabbalah
Tree of Life is a map of the soul/human journey and experience
toward enlightened conscio usness.
It is a picture of how Nothing becomes Everything, which
ultimately becomes physical matter; and vice versa, how
physical matter ultimately becomes Everything which then
becomes Nothing.
In all of time... in the
past, present and future... we are somewhere in the Tree,
experiencing a moment, then moving to another moment in time
to another place in the Tree. It is a personal journey,
and yet also a universal journey. It is the journey
to understand ourself, our relationships, our planet and the
cosmos in relation to the Creator of the All-That-Is.
It is a physical representation
of the stepdown process through each Sephirah where a
differentiated Spectrum appears. The stepdown of visible color begins with KETER. And so the Tree of Life
is formed. |

determined the frequencies using Gematria. The word "gematria"
comes from the Greek word geometria having the dual meaning
"earth-measure" and "geometry." It is the
mystical numerology of the Hebrew language and Hebrew alphabet,
and is used to derive meaning or relative relationship. Gematria
reveals the truths and hidden meanings behind Hebrew words.
It feels to me to be a sacred encoding and the experience of
the encoded frequency can open one to a deeper understanding
of the Kabbalah and ultimately Oneself. |
