The Fibonacci Set is
a set of 8 tuning forks. They represent the sequences in nature
discovered by Leonardo Fibonacci who was born in Pisa, Italy,
around 1175.
The sequence or series
begins with 1. After that, use this simple rule: add the last
two numbers to get the next.
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13,
21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987...
The Fibonacci Set of
tuning forks are the first 8 ratios. Here are the Fibonacci Ratios
with Pythagorean 256 hz (2 to the 7th power) as the base note.
The first four ratio tuning

The Fibonacci
Series creates a SPIRAL!
You see spirals in nature
all the time, such as the seeds of a sunflower or a nautilus
shell. See photos below. |
You can also see it in
architecture, such as a spiral staircase. Notice how the
photo below on the right looks very much like a sea shell
even though it is a spiral staircase seen from above.
You can use the Fibonacci tuning forks to create a spiral
affect. By spiraling in or out, you are working with
the principles of the Fire element and the relationship
between the front and back of the body.
Fire is the yang
princple. Fire moves blood, aids digestion and
brings warmth and vitality. It is the impluse that creates
movement, while a spiral gives us balance and equilibrium.
The center of this front/back
spiral is at the navel on the physical body. On the
back, it is directly opposite the navel. When you are inside
at the middle of the body behind the navel, you are at the Tan
Dien where our first original cells reside and where
our Soul resides.
Imagine the possibilities of working with the Tan Dien!
By spiraling up or
down the centerline of the body, you can also create a connection
vertically through your body from Earth to Spirit, or
vice versa, from Spirit to Earth. The Ida and Pingala are yin
(negative charge) and yang (positive charge) subtle energies
that spiral vertially inside our body around the central energy
line, the sushumna (neutral charge).
The Ida and Pingala are
the serpents spiraling around the sushumna, the staff, as seen
on the caduceus shown to the left. This spiraling structure
represents our ultrasonic core, the nucleus of all
subtle energy fields of the body. Therefore, working with
the spiral can balance, align and blend all the chakras, meridians
and all other subtle energy pathways.
You can also work with
the spiral of each chakra. Each chakra is a vortex of
energy that spirals in and out.
Physically, creating spiral
energy can regulate all the nervous systems of
the body, creating balance and harmony. When functioning
optimally, our nervous systems create a healthy body automatically.
It is also the spiral
where we can move up or down through various levels of consciousness
and awareness. The spiral is the connection of our physical
body to Source through the dimensional levels up or down
the spiral. This spiral is very similar to the journey through
the various sephiroth of the Tree of
Life.

possibility of other spirals in relation to the physical body
and subtle energy fields!
HOW TO USE
The 1/1 Fibonacci tuning
fork is the Fundamental (or base) tuning fork to create the
desired interval. For example, to create the interval 34/21
use the 1/1 tuning fork with the 34/21
tuning fork, or to
create the interval 8/5 use 1/1 tuning fork with the 8/5 tuning
fork.
You can also use two or
more of any of the tuning forks in the set to create multiple
partial intervals. For example you can activate the 5/3 tuning
fork and the 21/34 tuning fork, or you can place 3 tuning forks
in one hand between your fingers and tap each tuning fork with
a Rubber Mallet held in the other hand. CAUTION: We DO NOT
recommend tapping two tuning forks together as this can cause
the prongs to become nicked, which could possibly slightly alter
the frequency of the tuning fork. We are not responsible for
nicked forks and we will not replace them.
- You can simply activate
one or more forks and hold them near the ears about 4"-5"
away. If using two forks, alternate the two forks back and forth
near the ears.
- Or move them in a
spiral motion over a chakra, over the navel, above the top
of the head, below the feet or anywhere you want to create a
spiral. Try clockwise spirals and counter-clockwise
spirals. Do they feel different and if so, how? Does one direction
move energy in and the other out?
- A third method is to
hold one or more forks parallel to the body and use a
spiral motion up and down the front, back or sides of the body.
