Information Sharing
With
the exception of processing your credit or debit card so that
we may fulfill your order,
www.luminanti.com will never share or resell
your private information to anyone except as noted below under
"Information Collected".
Information Collected
In order to process your order and serve you better, we collect
personably identifiable information: your name, shipping and
billing information, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, credit
card number, expiration date and 3-digit CVV2 Security Code.
This also allows us to process your order and notify you regarding
your order if required.
Giving us the 3-digit CVV2
Security Code from the back of your card is essential to your
protection. It tells
us that you are the cardholder, rather than someone who has collected
your credit card number and expiration date through illegal means.
If our customer cannot give us the CVV2 Security Code without
a reasonable explanation, we will not process the order.
We must share your name and
address with our distributors so that they can ship your
order. If we are shipping outside the USA, we may be required
to provide your phone number to the mailing service. We are
not responsible for what our distributors or the US Postal Service,
UPS, Fed Ex, foreign postal services, or any other mail services
do with your information.

By requirement of our Merchant Credit/Debit
Card processing Provider, Elavon, LUMINANTI INC has performed
the required procedures to validate compliance with the PCI DSS,
which ensures the safety of your private information. |
Your order is placed using a credit/debit card machine in our
office. We key in your credit/debit card number, expiration date,
CVV2 security code, your billing address and the amount of your
purchase. This information is then batched out to our merchant
account with Elavon at the end of the day. No one has access
to the credit card machine except those working in the office.
Paper receipts of your order which contain all the information
collected above, are kept safely in storage for 2 years and then
shredded, which is a requirement from Elavon. Any other documents
with a cutomer's personal information, such as incoming mail,
are shredded.
We keep all collected information
on our computer system in QuickBooks except for the CVV2 Security
Code. By law, we cannot store that information. We store only
contact information in our Outlook address book,
Computer and Office
Security
We have in place firewall hardware equipment, the most current
version antivirus protection software, and ad/spyware protection.
Our computer is password protected on many levels, so the information
is only available to those in the office who know the passwords.
A password is required to logon to the computer, to open Outlook
and to open QuickBooks. Sensitive individual files are also password
protected. We backup our computer files nightly onto another
disk on the computer, which is password protected. Our offices
are locked from the outside and we also have a door lock on the
inside office where our computer, files and other sensitive information
are located.
Contacting You
When an order is processed,
we email you an RECEIPT detailing your order. Other times we
will email you is if we need to get information we need to process
your order or if you have emailed us requesting information.
Occassionally we will email all of our customers if there is
a change in prices, products, policies, or if we are having a
sale. If you do not wish to be on our customer list, please email us with your name
and the email address you wish us to remove from our list. We
will call your phone number only if there is a problem processing
your credit card, questions we need to ask to fulfill your order,
or if you request us to. We will never contact you to solicit
business.

Sites
Our Web site may contain links to Web sites operated and maintained
by third parties, over which we have no control. Privacy policies
on such linked sites may be different from our privacy policy.
Your access to such linked sites is at your own risk. You should
always read the privacy policy of a linked site before disclosing
any personal information on such site.
Privacy Policy Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy in whole or in part,
we will inform you by posting a notice on our homepage at www.luminanti.com. Those
changes will go into effect on the date posted in the notice.
The new policy will apply to all current and past users of our
