Essential oils have been shown to enhance oxygen uptake, absorption and utilization which assures appropriate transport of any nutrients to the cells of the body.

Dr. Farag, Ph.D., head of the biochemistry department at Cairo University, documented the oxygenating molecular activity in essential oils and was responsible for the discovery of their antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. An essential oil has the ability in its chemical structure to penetrate the cell wall and transport oxygen and nutrients inside the cell thus increasing cellular oxygen and giving more support to the immune system.

Essential oils increase ozone and negative ions in the home, which inhibit bacteria growth. They remove dust particles out of the air and, when diffused in the home, can be a natural air filtration system.

Clinical research shows that essential oils may help create an environment in which disease, bacteria, virus, fungus, etc., cannot live.
