Ess ential
oils have within them life-force energy, also called chi
or prana. This living energy has a distinct frequency
range which translates to a particular color ray. By matching
an essential oil with its color
and using the color ray of the oil with various systems such
as chakras, meridians,
reflexology, organs, etc., a whole new way of applying essential
oils becomes apparent.
The following two charts
are based on the progressive work of Suzy Chiazzari in her book
"Colour Scents: Healing with Colour &
Aroma".
When a single essential
oil has more than one color associated with it, it is because
of:
- the soil, climate & growing conditions of the plant material;
and/or
- what part of the plant
is being distilled: root, stems, leaves, flowers, or any combination
thereof
